New York, New York

How freaky! I just typed in my blog URL, but instead of typing 'blogspot,' I accidentally typed 'blogpot' (no s) and up popped a page called Amazing Bible Stories, "by God's mercy, one of the largest Bible-centered sites on the web." I thought it was a sign from above! Then I realized it was merely bad typing.

Anyways, my apologies for not keeping up with all your blogs or responding to comments, as I usually do. This week has been super busy because we have been preparing for a big project kick-off meeting in New York City. Please know that I have read each and every one of your comments and appreciate them all. I will catch up on all your blogs very soon. Promise! Thanks for not dissing me entirely in the meantime, as my self worth is correlated with the number of comments I receive. (Yikes! How pathetic is that?)

I was planning to go on to say that since I will be in NYC for the next few days, that you all should not expect to see any posts from me. However, I have been advised that I am not allowed to use travel as an excuse for not blogging. So, in between attending my work meeting and attempting to explore New York City while not looking like a tourist, I will try to post exciting missives about my travel adventures. Bet you can't wait.

It must be "employers against blogging week". My job been running my butt off too. I am so far behind on reading and commenting that everyone must think I died. Let alone trying to get my postings up.

Have a good trip in NYC.

Later Yall.....

Par-no slacking in NYC...we've come to expect a certain standard and if it takes you staying up all night and slacking off on your meeting...hey..it's your blogging duty~

have some fun up there!

If nothing else, then just take funny pictures of tourists and post them here. :)

I sent my daughter the url of craigslist.com but left off the s. She went to a hard core porn sight. I haven't lived that one down yet.

Shadow Falcon: Thanks, I will certainly try.

Meloncutter: In a perfect world, blogging would be allowed to interfere with work, but not the other way around.

John H: I tried...I really did!

T: I would definitely recommend it if you get a chance someday. NYC was great.

Crankster: Boo-hoo. So much to do and so little time. I'll have to catch the Strand next time.

Austere: Oh, I am all about the non-touristy stuff! When I get around to listing the things I did, you'll probably wonder what I was thinking!

Blondie: The damn tourists are so hyper that they hardly stand still long enough to get a good shot. ;)

Dr A: Hope you had a good trip and that it was not all work and no play.

The Thinker: Thanks, that's my plan.

Pepper: Uh-oh, now I bet your daughter thinks her mom is into the hardcore stuff. ;)
