Too Young to Vote

It's great that this kid is being exposed to the political process at such a young age. However, I suspect he is not yet quite old enough to fully consider all the issues and reach conclusions that are his own and not merely a reflection of his parent's ideology.

So I helped him out by fixing his sign for him.

Sorry-The Democrats have gone to the "looney left" lately, and have lost my vote! ...and I have been a democrat for 47 yrs!

I've been a lifelong Democrat, too, but now I'm ashamed of them. And I don't want to be a Republican either.

Yet I still vote. We need another option.

My dad told me last night that he's voting Democrat after being a Republican his whole life. Yowza!!

I'm just tired of ideology. I wish people would start voting on the issues (and maybe on the candidates), not on the parties.

Of course, we'd have to have some decent candidates.

Never mind.

I'm a Republican, but if I tried to vote absentee it would probably take about a year, so don't worry.

Starbender: Uh-oh. That's not good.

Hearts in SF: Write-in candidates, maybe?

Shadow Falcon: Scary, no?

Blondie: Wow! Why the switch?

Crankster: Good point. I don't vote strictly Dem, but almost always the Dem candidate is closer to my way of thinking than the Repub candidate.

Jill: Uh-oh. You better start voting now for the next Presidential elections. :)
