Not-So-Secret Recipe

Seems this KFC in New York City has a bit of a problem.

Indeed, the Colonel's secret recipe (alternate link) is not so secret anymore.

I heard about that. There is onel nearby, but I never eat there. I sent the newsclip to my son, who does, with the comment that those rats were boarding a plane for SF and would be coming soon to a KFC/TacoBell near you.

Apparently the USDA has standards for the maximum amount of bug parts allowed in breakfast cereal. I’ve been advised that it is not a good idea to scrutinize the scriffens at the bottom of the box but I’ve done it anyway just to see for myself. I’ve noticed suspicious bits and pieces but nothing particularly bug-like in appearance. I eat the stuff anyway, it’s just too damn quick and easy.

Ah, city life. I was in a bar in Chicago once and a rat ran through the open back door, across the floor, and out the open front door. At least it didn't stop and try to hit on me.

Hey PC,

You still there? Been a little quiet the last couple of days - did I miss anything? Are you away on a luxury cruise somewhere, or travelling the globe to spread blogging enlightenment in clinics and workshops? Getting massages by gorgeous guys on Oahu? I hope it's something good like that, 'cos I miss not reading anything new from you...

Cheerio,
eddyquette

Eddyquette: Thanks for your inquiry. I guess I can’t just fall off the face of the earth unnoticed after all. Having returned from my globe trekking adventure feeling thoroughly rested and relaxed, thanks to all the massages from the gorgeous guys in Oahu, I am once again posting to my blog. (At least part of that sentence is true; the last part.)

Thanks to everyone else for the comments, too. Sorry that I never seem to have time to respond individually these days, but rest assured that each and every comment is read and much appreciated. :)
