Web Poll Results

The first-ever reader poll conducted by this blog was a smashing success. A whopping six votes were cast. I am pretty sure I did not vote more than a few times, which means that more than one reader actually took time to vote in the poll. (See, success is what you make it.)

When asked the following question:

When you see a woman in hijab (Islamic head / body covering) at the grocery store, do you worry that she might be a suicide bomber?

Eighty-three percent of respondents indicated that they never or usually did not. Thus, the poll results confirm that the readers of this blog are a very open-minded group. (Or, at least they won't admit to being bigoted.)

The fine print: This poll has a 0.001% confidence rate and the margin of error is plus or minus 79 percentage points.
